Fancy passing your Scalextric driving test? Youngesters will be given this chance at this year’s Donnington Park Slot Car Festival, on the 23rd May. The initiative will test various slot car track negotiating skills and is overseen by the Police Road Safety Team.
The event also has many other slot car treats in stall, including a vast array of traders, a Scalextric Q&A session, a slot car auction, all kinds of Scalextric track layouts you can try for fun as well as competition events for the more serious slot car junkies. The Donnington Grand Prix Challenge race is a seriously furriowed brow event, with pre-registered entrants offering top flight skills in slot car racing.
Slot car tuning workshops are also on offer, helping you learn how to pimp your Scalextric cars, as well as scenery making and track creation schools. For more information on the event, head to click here
