Continuing on the theme of the awesome rally winning classics we’re currently seeing from SCX, the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus is an absolute gem. The Sunbeam was never a match for the classic poise of the MKII Escort, but it continues to grow old gracefully and was certainly capable of giving the Escort a run for its money when Henri Toivonen steered it to victory in the 1980 Lombard RAC Rally.
The SCX Talbot Sunbeam slot car features xenon effect headlamps, suspension guide and removable/adjustable magnet. Again, it’s the level of detail in these SCX cars that leaves you reaching for your wallet almost subconsciously. However, it’s money well spent in our opinion that will bring countless hours of pleasure.
